About Me

Welcome

Hi, I'm Cameron Galbraith: amateur photographer, world traveler, obstacle course racer, ultrarunner, product marketer, investor, and advisor to high-growth companies (more on my day job below).

I'm excited to share some memories of my travels with you.

Collect Experiences, Not Stuff

I'm a strong believer in collecting experiences, not things, so it's no surprise that travel is inextricably linked with my photography. Capturing new experiences near and far has helped me see and appreciate the world in new, interesting ways.

I hope that these images inspire you to travel too.

My Gear

For the most part, I shoot with either my Nikon D3300 DSLR with a Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 lens or my Google Pixel smartphone. The Sigma lens is incredible. Despite its size and weight, it's incredibly versatile. I've used it for big landscapes, artistic portraits, daylight high speed shots, and especially long exposures at night. The D3300 isn't the fanciest DSLR around, but it's been reliable on four continents and some of the most remote places in the world.

Spartan - A Great Reason to Travel

After my first Spartan race in 2018, I was hooked. In 2019, I completed 24 races for 7 trifectas across three continents, including the 24-hour Spartan Ultra World Championship in Åre, Sweden. Besides being a great a great excuse to train and travel, the Spartan community is amazing. I encourage anyone considering a race to sign up and go for it. It'll humble you, but you'll also be amazed by what you can do.

My Day Job

Besides traveling and taking photos, I'm a product marketer, investor, and advisor. I build and scale great organizations, helping small teams with big dreams achieve their goals. I study markets, identify unseen trends, and align the people, processes, and technology necessary to capitalize on new opportunities. In tech, my focus has been "seed to C" stage enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies. I've built new business functions from blank slates into high-performing teams, including product marketing, content marketing, marketing operations, sales operations, business development, and corporate development.
